Dad: Makade, please throw your food away.
Makade: If Corban's done, can I have his last chicken nugget?
Dad: If Corban says you can.
Makade: Corban, can I have your chicken nugget?
Corban: No.
Dad: Then come over here and finish your food Corban.
Corban: I done. I throw it away in garbage.
Dad: Well if you're done, give the chicken nugget to Makade.
(Corban proceeds to the garbage can)
Dad: Corban, don't throw it away. Makade wants it!
(Corban throws the chicken nugget away and slowly sneaks back whilst rubbing his hands together)
Corban: Ha ha ha! He'll NEVER get it now!

Makade's Birthday

Makade is SEVEN! Where does time go? His birthday was on the 27th and I'm still shocked.




To make the day special (since it was on a Sunday) I tried the Betty Crocker in me and made a football cake.





Pretty good if I say so myself!

Die Pooh Bear, DIE!

Grandpa Fuller was pleased as punch when he gave Corban a singing balloon for his birthday 2 weeks ago . Corban and Kellan STILL think the balloon is grand! The rest of the family would love Pooh Bear to take up a new residence in the garbage can! How long can a Mylar last anyway?

On a side note: We got Grandpa Fuller back since he was so happy the balloon would be going home with us. We patiently waited a day or two, then called his office number and left a message with Pooh Bear singing in all his glory. It's not often you catch Gil off guard, but the kids and I were successful!

Corban's Birthday

Although he didn't want to admit it, the 13th was Corban's birthday. Anytime you would tell him "Happy Birthday," he would say, "NO! It's (insert name here)'s birthday!" He graciously accepted his gifts though and has already put loads of miles on his train table.

He loves his bubbles and bubble blower and his StarWar guys as well.

Now it's on to Makade's birthday on the 27th! We should've planned better! Having kids' birthdays in the same month. Sheesh! What were we thinking?
