I'm thinking somewhere in Tarryn's subconscious mind, she wanted to have a day of firsts too. Why else would she have inadvertantly tried to burn the house down. With a corn dog. In the microwave? (That's got to be a first for anyone.)
Brandon caught it just in time as he turned around thinking, why on earth is the microwave running for so long? he saw black smoke billowing out. Tarryn had set the microwave for 20 minutes since that's how long it takes to cook a corndog in the oven.
Upon examining the charred mess on the cracked plate, we realised the stick in the center of the blackened lump was now ash. I guess it was our own family experiement to see if the microwave really does cook things from the inside-out. This girl keeps us on our toes and will not be trumped without a good show by a sibling. :)
