Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to School We Go!
Why is it such a bitter-sweet feeling (okay, slightly more sweet than bitter) to send your children off on their first day of school? Is it the anticipation of hoping it's a good year? That you hope they like their new teacher? Is it the fun clothes? Is it knowing I get a bit more peace in the house for a few hours before homework begins? Not sure. I just know that Tarryn's and Makade's first day was today and we are ready...as prepared as you can be anyway.
Our 12 year old 'tween-ager' is full of spirit. When she's not singing and dancing, she's swimming in dirt! Our well-rounded girl is growing up and Dad is having to start fighting off the boys. :(
Makade
This 10 year old kid is filled to his head with silliness. He'll do anything to make his siblings laugh and slap-stick is his forte.
Corban
Our middle child is 6! Corban has such a glowing personality, not to mention a sense of humor, and an uncanny ability to repeat lines from any show he's seen.
Kellan
Our 3 year old is filled with new things to share with us each day and is never short of words. -Especially funny words and phrases.
Javen
For being only 16 months old, this little guy is full of fun and artistic ability. He's the next Michelangelo - except Javen prefers working on walls 3 feet and under..
